Do you have a tough choice ahead of you? You’re vacillating between two or more options, second-guessing yourself, and worried to death you’ll make the wrong choice. How can you know what to do?
Dr. Joseph Murphy, the great New Thought author, offers some good advice:
“The secret of Guidance or Right Action is to mentally devote yourself to the right answer, until you find its response in you. The Response is a feeling, an Inner Awareness, an Overpowering Hunch, whereby you know that you know.
You cannot possibly fail or make one false step while operating under the subjective wisdom within you. You will find that all your ways are pleasantness and all your paths are peace.”
Then again, maybe you’re Stuck: you already know what you want, but you don’t know how to start, or how to take the next step to get there. The secret, according to Dr. Murphy, is to stop focusing on “how” and “when”, and imagine life as you want it to be. It’s more than a fleeting thought: really feel it, imagine what it looks like or sounds like, feel how great it is that your goal is met.
The best time to do this is right before you go to sleep. Your conscious brain is less likely to throw up mental obstacles like “that would never happen” or “what about (insert feared obstacle)”. It’s important that you prevent negativity from seeping in, because what you think, you create.
EXPECT ONLY GOOD FORTUNE
AND GOOD FORTUNE WILL BE YOURS
It’s easy to get frustrated with the creative process, but have a little faith, keep at it and soon, you will surely see the good results.
The word of the day is harbinger, which means a messenger with news of the future.
